By the time the house is on display in October 2009, Virginia Tech will have been working on the design and building of the 2009 house for almost two years! Follow the progress below.

SEPTEMBER 2009

september 2009 | student works on eclipsis screen
  • House moves to National Building Museum in Washington D.C. for month-long exhibit
  • Stretched fabric ceiling installed
  • Bathroom tiled
  • Stainless steel sun screens assembled and installed
  • Installation of interior maple finish
  • Testing of appliances and systems
